Good food, great coffee and genuine hospitality from the heart of Greytown.
The Offering is a family built hospitality business in Wairarapa, created by Jacqui and Bevan in 2017 and grown with a whole lot of love, hard work and community support.
From the beginning, The Offering was never just about being a café. It was about creating a warm, welcoming space for locals, visitors, families, friends and anyone passing through the beautiful Wairarapa. A place to meet for breakfast, linger over coffee, celebrate something special, or pick up something delicious on the way to wherever the day is taking you.
Over the years, The Offering has grown from its home on Main Street in Greytown into a much-loved part of the wider Wairarapa food scene. What started as one café has become a collection of offerings, including The Offering at Moore Wilson’s in Masterton, The Offering On Location, catering for meetings and events, and The Offering Bakehouse, home to our handcrafted New York style cookies.
At the heart of it all is the same thing that started it: food made with care, a team who genuinely loves what they do, and a belief that hospitality is about more than what is on the plate. It is about making people feel looked after.

Greytown Café
Our Main Street café is where The Offering began. Open every day, it is the place for breakfast, lunch, coffee, cabinet treats and those long overdue catch ups that turn into something lovely.
The Container at Moore Wilson’s
In 2021, we opened The Offering at Moore Wilson’s in Masterton. Known by many as The Container, it quickly became a go to for great coffee, toasties, salads, pastries and easy food on the move.
On Location
The Offering also hits the road with our mobile coffee and catering setup, bringing coffee, food and a little Offering energy to events, workplaces and community gatherings across the region.
The Bakehouse
Our Bakehouse is home to Mr O’s New York style cookies. Big, chunky, loaded and baked with the kind of care that makes them hard to share.
Catering By The Offering
From breakfast boxes and working lunches to platters, sweet treats and special events, our catering is made for easy hosting and proper good food.
