On Location @ Pak n' Save Masterton
Hey — do you love coffee and people?
Do you believe a great coffee can change someone’s day — especially when it’s served with warmth and care?
That’s how we work at The Offering. Our coffee isn’t just about beans and milk texture. It’s about connection, consistency, and showing up for people in the middle of their everyday lives. We follow the 49/51 philosophy— where skills can be taught, but attitude, awareness, and genuine care matter most.
Working in our Pak n Save coffee cart has its own rhythm. Some moments are busy and flowing, others are quieter and more relaxed. You’ll often be working in a small space, mostly on your own, so being comfortable operating independently, staying organised, and bringing your own positive energy really matters. Whether it’s a steady rush or a calm spell, the reward is building genuine connections and seeing familiar faces return day after day.
You might be a great fit if you enjoy working at speed, like having responsibility, and take pride in making consistently great coffee. Experience as a barista is helpful, but what matters more is your mindset — being reliable, approachable, and happy to engage with people while keeping things moving.
In the role, you’ll be making espresso-based coffees, handling orders and payments, keeping your workspace clean and well set up, and creating a welcoming presence for every guest who stops by. You’ll represent The Offering out in the community, so how you carry yourself matters just as much as the coffee you pour. We’ll support you with training, systems, and clear standards so you feel confident and backed.
Right now, we’re open about what this role could look like. It might be part-time, or it could grow into something more — it really depends on the people who apply and what works well between you and us. We care more about finding the right fit than locking into fixed hours straight away.
People join The Offering because it’s more than just a job. It’s a place where effort is noticed, wellbeing matters, and community is part of everyday work. We want this to be a role you’re proud of — whether you’re with us for a season or something longer.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
